Dear District 6

I began in 2008 by committing to working together with residents, businesses, community organizations and property owners to make District 6 a prosperous place to live, work and play.

With your involvement and input, a Master Redevelopment Plan was created that identified what you said makes a great community. This plan has served as the guide for progress that has taken place in our District. For full details, click on the RPA Link on the menu.

Furthermore, I have been addressing the challenges of safety and security in our community by partnering with our police officers and our neighborhood associations to take back our neighborhoods. We continue to work on those issues and I am proud of the support District 6 has shown for working together.

Water quality issues have been significant in District 6 and the public and private sector have been willing to work with me to formulate plans that focus on repairing the problems to meet federal requirements, reduce the financial hardship and provide a more durable environment and better quality of life.
