When I was elected to office I began meeting with community members, business and property owners, developers and City of Chattanooga officials to discuss economic development and quality of life issues affecting District 6. This collaboration helped set the foundation for better planning practices that protect the integrity of neighborhoods, contemplate quality, durable development and provide good living wage employment opportunities in District 6.
